Chive Butter

This Herb / Chive butter is great when sautéed with chicken breasts, eggs, or even used to baste steaks on the grill!

Ingredients

1 pound Salted Butter (4 sticks) Softened
1/8 cup Light Olive Oil
3 Tbsp Fresh Chopped Chives
1 Tbsp Sweet Basil
1 tsp Garlic Salt

Steps

Step 1
With butter warming to room temperature, wash fresh chives in cool water and pat dry. Chop finely.
Step 2
Combine all ingredients thoroughly. Using a stand mixer provides the best consistency, but a fork will do the job too.
Step 3
Can be frozen in an air-tight container, or kept in the fridge.
